The Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ngô Phương Nghị, traveled from Ekaterinburg to Perm on March 19 to visit Novomet.
Ngô Phương Nghị, the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, was given a tour of the Novomet manufacturing facilities on March 19. He and his team were introduced to several Novomet products. The tour began in the machining facility, and then proceeded to the foundry, which was built in 2017. The delegation was accompanied by Evgenii Diadiun, the Head of Production at Novomet.
"Novomet is a modern, well-equipped enterprise,” said Ngô after the tour. “The company has innovative products that are in demand by oil companies around the world. Novomet technologies are a good fit for Vietnam.”
Russia and Vietnam have worked together to improve oil production for almost 38 years. Vietsovpetro, a joint venture between the two countries, currently operates on the continental shelf South of Vietnam.
Novomet is currently engaged in tendering proposals for supplying production equipment throughout Vietnam. The company currently supplies equipment and services to several oil producing companies in the Asia region including India, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Novomet began offshore equipment installations in 2013 and has successful operations in Romania, Egypt, Colombia, Iraq, and India. Today Novomet equipment is supplied in 23 countries.
